Courses

CRU Training provides both Day Courses and Qualification Courses for those involved in outdoor education that equip participants in a range of skills including first aid, water safety, food handling, outdoor leadership, Christian theology and more. CRU Training is an approved provider authorised by the NSW State Training Service which means we can deliver some of our courses at substantially subsidised rates.

Day Courses

CRU Training provides short training courses that cover first aid and water safety (Bronze Medallion). Depending on the course, the training can be held at one of our campsites, CRU Galston Gorge or CRU Lake Mac or at an external site.

First Aid

Knowing First Aid means you could save a life! CRU Training delivers First Aid training to a diverse range of groups including churches, other campsites and schools. We provide a pre-course workbook, followed by a full day of training and a face to face assessment.

The full First Aid course (which includes HLTAID011 - Provide First Aid & HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) is priced from $129 per person. We require a minimum of 16 people doing the full course for the course to run.

The CPR only course (just HLTAID009 - Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation), is priced from $79 per person.

Due to the time and staff involved, if you require a course where some students will be doing just CPR and some doing the full First Aid course, then the per person price will be the same as the full First Aid course.
