+ How much do camp programs cost?
We don’t have a standard cost for our camp programs as each one is individually planned to meet the school’s aims. The cost may vary due to length of camp, activities chosen, staff numbers required and accommodation. We cost our camps per student and include the cost for all aspects of camp as well as teacher costs within this number. We want to ensure we are as transparent as possible with our prices so you know exactly what the cost of camp is. To find out how much your program may cost, please contact us.
+ Do you offer any discounts?
Each of our camp programs is individually planned and costed so each school is only charged for costs relating to their camp. We do this to keep our prices as low as possible. There are a number of discounts that are automatically applied to camps depending on situations, these include a 15% discount on site rates for CRU Educational Camps run at our own sites as well as a discount for camps run in school terms other than Term 1. Please contact us to see so we can provide an accurate quote for you program.
+ Do we have to book at a CRU campsite?
Most schools prefer to stay at CRU campsites due to the high quality of accommodation and activities, however we understand that the needs for every camp are different. To allow for a wider variety of programs, our team can run camps at different locations around Sydney, NSW and the ACT. This is especially the case for schools where we run camps for consecutive year groups.
+ Is the Christian component of camp compulsory for our program?
Each of our fully-programmed CRU Educational Camps has a Christian Discovery session programmed on most days. We understand that students come from a variety of faith backgrounds, so our Christian discovery sessions are tailored for each group’s age and faith background. These sessions focus on the central message of the Bible, and seek to encourage every student to explore faith, God and Christianity for themselves. Students also have an opportunity to ask their leaders questions during small group time. Our leaders are trained in Christian ministry and are sensitive to the varied backgrounds of students.
If you would like to run a program at one of our sites without the involvement of our CRU Educational Camps team, you may book the sites as a ‘guest group’. Please contact our Bookings Manager for these bookings.
+ Can you take multiple bookings at the same time?
Yes! Our team and sites are set up to host multiple groups simultaneously and many schools choose to run year groups alongside each other. We have the ability to take new multi-grade bookings on in Terms 2-4. See what multiple camps could look like here.
