A Schools Ministry Associate (SMA) is someone who is part of a 2-year, full-time, paid gospel training program run by CRU. The focus is on sharing Jesus with secondary school students through visiting CRU Groups, and leading on CRU Educational Camps and CRU Holiday Camps. Through the Schools Ministry Associates Program, you will have the chance to make a life-changing impact on the lives of hundreds of teenagers. By sharing the gospel with them and encouraging them in their walk with Jesus, you will play a strategic role in an organisation that is reaching many lives for Christ.
What does Schools Ministry Associate training look like?
Bible, ministry and leadership training, including theological study and weekly preaching training through Sydney Cornhill Preaching College
Leadership experience on stacks of CRU Educational Camps and Holiday Camps
Opportunities to write and present Bible talks to high school students
SMAs receive a training allowance package while training and there is no charge for all the training received
Mentoring and support from a team of dynamic, experienced and caring youth workers

Applications for Schools Ministry Associates Scheme open in August for January commencement. All positions receive a training allowance package as well as board and meals while on camp, and there is no charge for the training received.
