Do you enjoy bookings, administration and coordination?

We’re looking for an admin whizz to ensure the smooth running of camps at our sites through the timely collection, collation, and distribution of information to our site teams. This role is vital in supporting CRU’s Christian ministry.

CRU’s two Camp & Conference venues at Galston Gorge and Lake Macquarie have been welcoming camps and guest groups to our sites for many years. Each venue boasts excellent conference facilities, comfortable accommodation, delicious food and plenty of indoor and outdoor recreational facilities and activities to choose from.

Whether it’s a school camp, community group retreat, music camp, church getaway or a corporate event, we aim to give our guests a five-star booking experience.

Reporting to the Director of Properties, the Bookings Coordinator will be working closely with our Business Development Manager and Bookings team to ensure a well-coordinated bookings logistics process.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Finalising booking contracts.

  • Supporting groups to engage with their self-service portal and completing the required camp information deadlines.

  • Collating pre-camp logistics information for sites and transfer relevant data to management systems for operational teams to access.

  • Generating reports for sites to allow for the smooth running of camps.

  • Liaising with other CRU divisions to ensure pre-camp logistics information is provided to sites in a timely manner.

  • Scheduling and attending site logistics planning meetings.

The successful applicant will have the following:

  • A mature and consistent Christian faith, evidenced by godly character and active involvement in a Christian church.

  • A full agreement with CRU’s Expanded Basis of Belief.

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise workload.

  • Ability to work independently and within a team.

  • Proven experience in an administrative role.

  • Experience in reservations, camps or bookings environment is desirable, but not mandatory.

  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures.

  • Good level of computer literacy particularly in Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Current NSW Drivers Licence.

  • A current NSW Working with Children Check or a willingness to obtain one.
